Sandra Millner Mayer, died November 22, 2010. Beloved wife of Jesse Rudy Mayer; devoted mother of Joel (Julie) Mayer and Ann (Jack) Mayer Eisen; daughter of the late Abel and Sarah Silberman Millner and Golda Yare Millner; loving sister of Alan (Mary Jane) Millner, Marcia (Jeff) Herscovitz and the late Marilyn Millner Wolff; loving grandmother of Jamie and Mitchell Mayer, Emily, Josh and Jordan Eisen; dear aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Born September 23, 1937, Sandy was an alum of U. City High School, SIU Carbondale and Camp Hawthorne. She was a wonderful mother, a dedicated member of B’nai El Temple, preschool teacher and dog lover. She never lost her love of creating art nor her ability to make friends.
