Ruth Schneider, died March 26, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Aaron Schneider.  Dear mother of Richard (Diane) Schneider of Stamford, CT and Jane (Larry) Von Alexander of Austin, TX.  Loving grandmother of Nathan, Molly and Samantha Schneider, Julia and Emily Von Alexander.  Beloved sister of the late Sheppard (Norma) Beidler and Sylvia (Sidney) Steinberg.  Our dear aunt, cousin and friend. Ruth Schneider was a remarkable woman. A graduate of Brooklyn College, she worked as a geologist and later was a much loved teacher in St. Louis. She was an active supporter of Washington University and Temple B’Nai El. She and Aaron loved to travel and made friends wherever they went. She will always be remembered for her ever curious mind and her love of laughter. Funeral service Friday, March 28, 11:00 AM at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road.  Interment Private.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund, 42 East 69th Street, New York, NY, 10021.
