Ruth M. (Nussbaum) Swimmer, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., died July 18, 2015 in Overland Park, Kansas. Daughter of Rose (Frank) and William Nussbaum, Ruth was born May 17, 1920 in St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph “Butz” Swimmer. Mother of David Swimmer and his wife Mary Pat Sullivan; daughter Janet Sanderson and her husband Michael, 4 grandchildren, Graham Swimmer, Hannah Swimmer, Amy Sanderson and Douglas Sanderson, his wife Susan, 2 great- grandchildren Ruthanne and Will Sanderson. She also leaves many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2015 at Mt. Sinai Mausoleum.
