Rosalie Grosman (nee Goldberg), June 11, 2016; Faithful and loving wife of the late Julius Grosman; loving mother of Helane Bernath, Brenda (Dan) Chatfield, and Ellen (Bill) Broaders; grandmother of Jordan Bernath, Jesse Bernath, Kyle (Anna Goldstein) Broaders, Tera (Daniel) Howard, Ryan (Xiaofeng) Rosebrough; great grandmother of Grady and Isaac; sister of the late Gertrude (Morris) Willard, the late Ruth (Julian) Frank, and the late Irwin (Fannie) Goldberg. Dearest aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Rosalie was employed for many years at Edison Brothers Shoe Company until her retirement in 1986 and dedicated the rest of her life to her family. She will be forever remembered for her story telling and her famous quip of “use it in the best of health”.
Private family services were held. The family will observe Shiva at Helane’s home on Wednesday, June 15 (2-8pm) and on Thursday, June 16 (2-8pm). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Special thanks to everyone at Delmar Gardens West who touched Mom’s life and especially Lauritta, the two Mikes and Cynthia; and Pathways Hospice, especially Lindsey and Amanda.
