Robert “Bob” Balk, age 75, passed away surrounded by his family on June 23, 2018.  He was born on November 21st, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to David and Gertrude (Plaut) Balk.

Bob was a beloved husband to Fran (Fields) for 47 years.  Proud father of Tom (Karen) Balk, Debbie (Steve) Kunitz and Ellie Balk. Loving grandfather of Taylor and Garrett Balk, Emma and Will Kunitz. Dear brother of the late Rick Balk. Dear brother-in-law of Nona Balk, Lynda Fields, and Alan Fields. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Bob was a man of integrity, a proud veteran, and he loved his family dearly.

Funeral service Tuesday, July 3rd, 10:00 AM at United Hebrew Congregation, 13788 Conway Road at Woodsmill. No visitation prior to service. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery.
