Loving husband of the late Maxine (Kessler) Rubin.  Beloved father of Allison (Mike) Shanker, and Mickey (Kristi) Rubin.  Dear grandfather of Sydney and Jordyn Rubin and step grandfather to Eva, Jackson, and the late Lucas Shanker.  Beloved brother and brother-in- law of the late Sareva (Frank) Muchnick and Susan (the late Larry) Boxerman.  Dear uncle of Steven A. (Barbara) Muchnick, Bill (Darcy) Muchnick, Marc (Ruth Sosniak) Boxerman, and Michael (Susie Evans) Boxerman.

Bob was proud of his military service with the Air Force during the Korean war.  He was a graduate of the Washington University Business School.  He was a lifelong fan of the St Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Browns.

Graveside service Monday, November 22, 10:30 a.m. at Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 1601 North and South Road.  Contributions in his memory may be made to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, 1001 Highlands Plaza Drive West, Suite 140, St. Louis, MO, 63110.  The family would like to thank the staff of St. Andrews of Bridgeton, especially Tamika and Eboni who provided Bob with such exceptional care over the past year.
