Daughter of the late Jeanne and Harry Chanen; Daughter-in-law of the late Eva and Jack Balk; Loving wife of 62 years of Edward Balk; Mother of Rabbi Hanan (Barbara) Balk, Mitchell (the late Sheila) Balk, Lynnsie Balk Kantor, Carla (Dr. Michael) Rhodes; Mother-in-law to Dr. David Kantor; Loving grandmother of Aviva (Aryeh) Needle, Eliana (Spencer) Moore, Shoshana Balk, Sharona Balk, Leora (Shmuel) Lesher, Rabbi Willie (Estee) Balk, Dena (Judd) Cohen, Nava Kantor, Eitan Kantor, Noam Kantor, Eva Rhodes, Neeli (Eli) Portal, Aliza Rhodes and great-grandmother of 11; Sister of Philip (the late Audrey) Chanen; Sister-in-law of Noma (the late Arthur) Simon. Lovingly cared for by Katina Hockerson to whom the family will be forever grateful for extending and enhancing her life, as well as Ashley Miller.

Funeral Service Monday, September 23, 2:30 PM at Congregation B’nai Amoona 324 S. Mason Rd. 63141. No Visitation prior to Service.
