Richard Lee Turner

Richard Lee Turner, 77, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 28, 2016 at his home in Kauai, Hawaii. He was born on September 20, 1938 in St. Louis to Benjamin and Blanche Turner.
 
Richard grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Clayton High School in 1956. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a degree in law. He owned Richard Turner and Associates, LLC and worked as a lawyer for 43 years.
 
Richard was a member of Shaare Emeth Temple while he lived in St. Louis. He enjoyed watching the albatross nest near his home in Kauai, he was an avid antique collector and he loved and adored his rescue cat, Daisy Mae.
 
Richard is survived by his wife, Elaine Miller, his son, Marc Jeffrey Turner of Los Angeles, California, his daughters, Stacey Turner Acree of St. Louis, and Tamara Turner MacLean of St. Louis, his sons-in-law Eric Acree and Kent MacLean, his two step-children Nancy Miller and Tom Miller, his sister Ann Fendelman, his grandchildren Carson and Ryan Acree, nephews Neil and Todd Mandel. Richard loved his family, friends and he loved bringing people together.
 
The family will be greeting friends and relatives at a memorial service on March 20, 2016. Please contact family for details.
