Richard J. “Rick” Millner, died May 4, 2015. Beloved husband of Jean Millner for 36 years; dear father of Brian (Stessie Bill) Millner and Lauren (fiancé, Josua Rudolph) Millner; loving grandfather of Everly Millner; beloved brother of Gale (Harry) Hilburg; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. Mr. Millner was involved in many community-wide activities. He coached hockey for 23 years at Creve Coeur Youth Hockey, served as Cub Master at Old Bonhomme School (Pack 663), volunteered at Congregation Shaare Emeth for many years (particularly in association with the Purim Carnival), co-chaired the Olivette Summerfest event and was a former Councilman and Mayor of the City of Olivette . Funeral service Wednesday, May 6, 10 a.m. at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road with interment to follow at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery , 8430 Gravois Road. Visitation for Mr. Millner 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Shaare Emeth.
