Raymond W. Klauber, died October 30, 2014 peacefully and with dignity at age 73 at Mercy Skilled Nursing. Raymond was born September 23, 1941. He is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Erna Klauber, cousins Ruth Landsbaum and Edward Rosenblatt; and his two cats “Parking Lot” and “Rosh Hashanah”. He is survived by his forever friend Karen Fishman and his cousin George David, of North Augusta, S.C. Ray received a PhD in Psychology. Prior to his untimely illness in February 1998, he worked for SIUE and the Special School District. In addition to his full time employment, he maintained a private psychology practice including clinical hypnosis. He was also a member of Mensa and the MAC. At the time of his illness, he lived in Ballwin where he garaged his 1967 Mustang convertible and his beloved BMW. Extra special love and appreciation to: Naomi, his private duty nurse aide, who stayed with him for 8 years; and the incredibly wonderful and supportive staff at Mercy Skilled Nursing, who became, and will remain, part of our “family”. Thank you to all, for your love, hugs, emotional support, and laughter shared during the approximately 15 years Ray lived there. Graveside service Monday, November 3, 11:00 AM at New Mt.
