Rachel Victoria Pearline, MD-MPH, Diplomate of Medical Oncology. Thursday November 5, 2015. Beloved daughter of Donald (Sharongay) Pearline and the late Carol (Klarsfeld) Pearline; cherished sister of Sarah (fiancé, Brian Dambacher) Pearline; our dear friend, caregiver and joyful source of light and inspiration to many.

An alumna of Brown University,Tulane Medical School, and NYU Hospitals, Rachel was a hematology and oncology medical fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. She has cared for patients in hospitals and clinics in the US, China and South Africa and during or after 9/11; Hurricane Katrina; Hurricane Sandy; the earthquake in Haiti, and everywhere else that she could lend a caring hand, heart or mind. She has traveled and made friends around the world, completed marathons, and had the most amazing adventures in her short 38 years.

Funeral service Monday, November 9, 1:00 PM at Kol Rinah, 829 N. Hanley Road with interment to follow at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North and South Road.  Visitation for Rachel12:30 PM Monday at Kol Rinah. In lieu of flowers, Rachel specifically requested donations in her name be made to San Francisco General Hospital hematology-oncology clinics (http://sfghf.org/RachelPearline/), where funds will be used to help patients and their families navigate through the challenges of illness and treatment.
