Phillip Paul Ellis, age 94 of Clearwater, FL, formerly, Chesterfield, MO, died May 3, 2021.

Beloved son of the late Samuel and the late Lottie Satz Ellis.  Loving husband of the late Doris Ellis and the late Gloria Stern Ellis; loving companion to Loretta Lambert; dear father of Michael Ellis (Sandy), the late Gail Ellis, and Shari Ellis; dear step-father of Cindy Minetti (Tony), Ellen Stern (Brian Kutza) and David Stern (Alejandro Shepard); Dear grandfather to Dawn Meloon (Skip), Kris Silva, Simon McCreary-Ellis (Alexandra), Rebekah Dunn, Rachel Minetti, Kendra Kutza, Nathan Lee, and Levi Lee; great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather; dear brother to Shepard Ellis (the late Faith), and dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.  A special thank you to the amazing caregivers these last few months, especially Michelle and Kema.

Phil was an amazing man, he lived life to the fullest, never knowing a stranger.  WWII Veteran, owner operator of Ellis Service Co and Phil’s Ole Tyme Service, Mason, Shriner, world traveler, bowler, fisherman, hunter, artist, musician, and lover of life.
