Perry Sparks, November 15, 2021, just shy of his 95th birthday.

Beloved husband of 68 years to the late Shirley Sparks.    Beloved father of Robert (Zelda) Sparks, Harry (Laurie) Sparks, and Joseph (Carol) Sparks.  Loving grandfather of Martha Sparks, Aaron (Natalie Blackman) Sparks, Jacqueline (Akiva) Bacovcin, Emily (fiancé, Alex Kadis) Sparks, Jenny (Remy Lewis) Sparks, Michelle and Lily Sparks. Dear great grandfather of Dahlia, Vanessa, Isaac, Hannah, Mercy, and Réuel-Sébastien. Beloved son of the late Harold and Lillian Sparks.  Dear brother of the late Jack Sparks.  Special friend of Hannah Tennenbaum.  Dear uncle, cousin, and good friend to many.

Perry made his lifelong career at Lumberyard Supply Company, a building materials distribution business started by his father in 1937, retiring at age 80. Known to many for his list of restaurant recommendations, his tennis playing prowess, and his love and devotion to his family.

Funeral service Friday, November 26, 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois Road.  Visitation with Perry’s family beginning at 10:30 a.m. until time of service.  For those wishing to attend in person, please be prepared to show proof of vaccination and masks are required. The service will also be available via livestream.  Contributions in his memory may be made to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, 10950 Schuetz Road, St. Louis, MO, 63146.
