Perry H. Mamroth

United States Military Veteran

Perry H. Mamroth, May 31, 2022

Beloved husband of Florine Mamroth; dear father of Douglas Mamroth (Sonia) and the late Randy Mamroth (Lori Frank); dear grandfather of Benjamin (Joan), Rachel, and Kasenna Mamroth; dear great-grandfather of Oliver and Leland Mamroth; dear brother of the late Leona Dreyfus (Al) and the late Harold Mamroth (Bernice); our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many.

Perry lived a full life, spending seventy years married to his greatest love, Florine. At the start of his marriage, he served as a United States Marine in the Korean War as a radio operator signaling ground locations to air forces. During his career, he was a talented engineer, contributing to the Mercury and Gemini spacecraft missions as well as serving as a technical liaison on two of the U.S. Air Force’s most versatile fighter aircrafts ever built. Perry, along with his wife, Florine, was a member of United Hebrew Congregation for over fifty years and always considered being called up to the bima for an aliyah as one of his greatest honors in front of the Congregation. He was the all-around family man, picking up sports with his kids, driving the family around on vacations, and always lending an ear to listen. Perry will be remembered for the many fond memories of time spent with his wife, kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews, and the occasional competitive game of ping pong or blitz.
