Perline Langsam, July 15, 1918 to February 12, 2020

Survived by her daughter, Dayle Friedman, and her sons, Hadley and Robert Wintner.  Grandmother of three and great-grandmother of eight.  Ms. Langsam matriculated from Washington University School of fashion design.  She rode a streetcar to work at Famous.  Moving to Southern Indiana, she became a homemaker and mother, and returned to St. Louis in 1961.  Except for brief stints in Memphis and Boca Raton, she lived in St. Louis since.  Known for great cooking and wise counsel, she will be in our hearts forever.
