Paul M. Londe

Paul M. Londe, died June 6, 2012 at age 92. Born December 31, 1919 . He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Naomi Cohn Londe and sister, the late Annette (late Walter) Brock. Brother Simon (Marsha) Londe and sister Adele Feinstein live in Atlanta, GA. Paul’s son, Ron (Jan) Londe lives in Webster Groves and daughter Shari, lives in Chesterfield. He has three grandsons and two great-grandsons. In World War II, Paul was awarded the Purple Heart during the invasion of Sicily, Italy, and in North Africa. He also earned two Silver Stars and a Marksmanship Medal. Paul was the Vice-President of Cutter-Karcher Shoe Company. He was an executive in other shoe companies. After retiring, he continued to work in several businesses part-time until he was 88. He was active in B’nai B’rith and served as President of his chapter for years. Paul was also a Mason 32nd degree. He and Naomi traveled extensively around the world including Israel. They were enthusiastic ballroom dancers. Paul was an avid reader and enjoyed golf. Like his father, Paul cultivated a rose garden in order to give Naomi roses daily throughout the summer.
