Pamela Beth Gollub (Linder) died peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Overland Park at the age of 58 after a 5-month battle with gastric cancer. She was surrounded by her family who remained at her bedside during her final days. Beloved wife of Steven Gollub, Overland Park, KS; dear mother of Alyson, Elliot, and Isaac Hendry, and Francine Gollub; dear daughter of Sylvia Linder and the late Daniel Linder; dear sister of Holly Moore, Lori Linder (Jim Greenstein), Kim Linder, Robin Begley (Dan), Doveed Linder, and Noah Linder. Pam was born on July 14, 1959 in Granite City, IL. She was a dedicated, hardworking mother to her three children. In 2008, she married Steve, her childhood crush from Camp Sabra and moved to Overland Park, KS where they beautifully blended their two families. Pam and Steve were passionate travelers and visited many countries around the world as well as exciting hiking trips around the many National Parks. They were proud pet parents of their treasured Australian shepherd, Gina, who brought them so much joy. She was a loyal, caring friend to many, and can be described as the “person who lights up the room.” Pam was a passionate writer and journaled throughout her fight at www.caringbridge.org. Her stories inspired many people and gave her a platform to express her gratitude and her brave journey.
