Norman S. London, died March 1, 2014. Beloved husband of Michelle London and the late Carole London Christianson; dear father and father-in-law of Stefanie (Steve Littlejohn) London, Gary London and Brittany Marquardt; dear grandfather of Chaz Littlejohn, Madeline (James Short) Emery, Jonas Marquardt and the late Meredith Littlejohn; dear son of the late Maurice and the late Mary London; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Thelma (the late James) Riley and Stanley (Jackie) London, M.D., dear son-in-law of Roland and Barbara Godi; dear brother-in-law of Carey (Rachelle) Godi; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. Funeral service Thursday, March 6, 11:00 am at Congregation B’nai Amoona, 324 S. Mason Road.  Visitation Thursday 10:30 am.  Interment Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery.  Norm was born in Springfield, IL on September 6, 1930.  He graduated from Washington University and Washington University School of Law.  Norm was a well-regarded criminal defense attorney.  He retired from private practice to lead the Federal Public Defenders Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, a position he held for 10 years.  In addition, Norm loved to spend time with his family, travel, watch sporting events and read, and he was a great lover of his dogs.  Memorial contributions preferred to Stray Rescue, 2320 Pine Street (63103) www.strayrescue.org.  Please visit bergermemorialchapel.com for more information.
