Norman Bernard Pester

Norman Bernard Pester, died February 3, 2015 in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Norman is survived by wife (of 45 years) Hinda Faye, daughters Michelle (Daniel) Spirn and Tamara, grandchildren Sam and Emily Spirn; brother Dr. Steven Pester, sisters Karen (Asher) Glazer and Simone Paulson. Norman was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, CPA (retired), volunteer and business broker.  He was born in the Bronx, New York to parents Lillian and Max Pester, grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and served in the U.S. Marine Reserves.  Following graduation from the City College of New York, he worked for the CPA firm Shanholt, Marinoff & Fleiss in New York City before relocating to Denver with his wife and daughters in the early 1970s.  He founded Pester & Company, CPAs, and was entrusted with the financial lives of many, including several generations of family-owned businesses, during the more than 30 years he practiced prior to retirement. Contributions may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, CancerCares, or other charity of choice.
