Nancy Wolf

Nancy Wolf, May 30, 2022

Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Wolf; dear mother and mother-in-law of Carol Solomon (Jeffrey), Lynn Wolf, Karla Deboer (Arthur) and Edward Wolf; dear grandmother of David Solomon, Adam Solomon (Ashley), Cynthia Lea Simpson (Dean Wienstroer), Jonathan Simpson (fiancée Alyssa Bridick), Colin Drake, Alan Drake, Resah Drake, Maday Wolf and Benjammin Wolf; dear great-grandmother of Aurora Solomon and Finnigan Solomon; dear sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn Siegel (Barry); dear aunt of Brian Siegel (Christina) and David Siegel; dear great-aunt of Elijah Siegel; dear cousin and friend.

Nancy will be remembered for her devotion to and unconditional love of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She showed tremendous strength and courage after becoming widowed at age 50, following the death of her beloved Richard after nearly 31 years of marriage. She insisted on living life to its fullest, including traveling alone to Venezuela for the birth of a granddaughter. She also joined the fulltime workforce, becoming a friendly and welcoming presence in the office of Congregation Shaare Emeth for 18 years, and later Congregation Kol Am.

Nancy bravely faced a series of health challenges throughout her adult life, most recently a long and arduous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her family expresses gratitude to her special friend and caregiver, Brenda Cunningham, and to Pathways Hospice for their compassionate care in her final days.
