Myra Blass Bensinger Spector Potashnick

Myra Blass Bensinger Spector Potashnick, passed away on Friday, April 6, in Danville, California, at the age of 91 years.
Myra was born on May 19, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Fanny and Ben Blass. Myra was the second youngest of 5 children and is survived by her older sister Rosalie Chapper of Boston, Ma. She is also survived by a niece and nephew living in St. Louis and nieces and their families living on the east coast.
Myra will be lovingly and forever remembered by her children Judy Bensinger-Haynes (Bill Haynes), Scott Bensinger (Vicki Bensinger) and grandchildren, Bryan Haynes and Jennifer Haynes Kasdorf, Graham Bensinger and Lisa Bensinger, and four great granddaughters.
Myra was married to Jerome Spector for 8 wonderful years. Myra and Jerry traveled the world and enjoyed each other in their worldly adventures. Myra often spoke of Jerry with loving memories and respect. Myra is survived by Jerry’s children Malcolm and Helen Spector.

Myra was blessed to have been married to her beloved Robert Potashnick for 32 years and is survived and remembered by Dr. Potashnick’s children; Pam Frank, Greg Potashnick (Sharon Rickel), Suzanne Goldstein (Larry Goldstein), grandchildren Wendy Selden and Jodi Laymen and two great-grandchildren.
Myra was a beautiful woman, an artist at heart. She enjoyed traveling, meeting new friends and shopping for designer clothes with friends and family. She loved her family dearly and was a generous and giving being. She will be dearly missed and loved forever.
Private family services were held on Friday, May 4th.
