Murray L. Weidenbaum, died March 20, 2014. Beloved husband of Phyllis Green Weidenbaum for 60 years.  Dear father of Susan (Richard) Goldstein, James (Kathleen) Weidenbaum and Laurie (Victor) Stark.  Loving grandfather of Nathan, Benjamin, Andrew, Brian, Kevin and Rachael.  Beloved brother of Marilyn (Stanley) Cohen.  Our dear uncle, cousin, colleague and friend. Murray had a distinguished 50 year career as a Professor of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis.  He also proudly served his country as the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors under President Ronald Reagan. Private family burial services were held.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Louis Zoo, 1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO, 63110 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
