Mollie Ostrow Rifkin, April 29, 2016, passed away at home surrounded by the loving presence of her family.

She is survived by her children; Dr. Robert (Rose) Rifkin, Kathy (William) Kottwitz, and Wendy April. Her grandchildren; Rachel and Abraham Rifkin, Tracy (Paul) Lehman, Katy and Kenneth (Jessica) Kottwitz, Sarah (fiancé, Yehuda Feigenbaum) and Laura April, and her great grandchild, Aubrey Lehman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tillie and Harry Ostrow, her brother Alvin Ostrow, her in-laws, Kate and Abe Rifkin, her son-in-law, Ben April, and her beloved husband, Dr. Shale Marshall Rifkin.

She had a resilient and tenacious spirit, and was lovingly devoted to her family. She would light up a room with her presence, story telling and singing. She was a lifetime member of B’nai El Congregation and passionate about her Jewish community. Her beauty and smile will live on in our hearts forever.

Funeral service Monday, May 2, 10:30 AM at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road with interment to follow at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. Visitation for Mrs. Rifkin 10:00 AM Monday at Shaare Emeth. Contributions in her memory may be made to BJC Hospice Foundation, P.O.
