Mildred E. Wolff

Mildred E. Wolff, died March 9, 2011 at the age of 101 at Brooking Park. Beloved widow of I. Isadore Wolff; mother of Bob (Marlene) Wolff, Ginny (Gerald) Weiss and the late David Wolff; grandmother of Scott Wolff, Leland Wolff, Ellie Weiss and Vickie (Eric) Feinstein; great-grandmother of Eva, Noah, Isaac Pearlstone, Micah Schwartz, David, Abby and Jonah Feinstein, sister of the late Saul (Estelle) Brown, Lee (Helen) Brown, Bernard (Fay) Brown; dear aunt. Mildred spent more than sixty years in community service. During World War II she was a nurse’s aide at Faith Hospital. In 1948 she headed the Women’s Division of the Jewish Federation. For over twenty five years she worked at the Scholarshop. She was among the first volunteers at the Miriam School and was an active member of NCJW, Brandeis Book Club and Shaare Emeth Congregation. She loved golf and was an excellent cook, pianist and bridge player. Contributions to The Scholarshop Foundation or to the Jewish Food Pantry.
