Melvin Rosen died on June 18, 2019 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 96. 

After serving in WWII, he lived in St. Louis with his wife of 40 years, Harriet Zwick Rosen who died in 2004. Melvin and Harriet retired to Boca Raton in 1988. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Fannie Rosen, his sister Betty Kahan, and brother Sidney Rosen.

He will be missed by his family and their spouses. Daughters Marti Kranzberg (Teresa Gardner) of Dallas Texas and Robynn Nawrot (Jack) of Cobden Illinois, two grandchildren David Rosen Wides (Marie) of Krestova British Columbia and Rachel Verinis (Alex) of Pescadero Mexico. He has four great grandchildren Eirwen and Arie Wides; and, Corbin and Saldamarco Verinis. 

He was known for his lovely baritone voice, his golf acumen, and his playful dry sense of humor. His daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren celebrate his life well lived.
