Melvin Appelman, died November 26, 2013.  Beloved husband of Norma Appelman; dear father and father-in-law of the late Phyllis Horowitz, Howard (Pamela) Appelman and Susan (Steven) Drapekin; dear grandfather of Alyssa Appelman, Joni Appelman, Lindsay Appelman, Joshua Drapekin, Anna (fiance Daniel Graulich) Drapekin, Jesse Drapekin and Max Horowitz; dear brother-in-law of Rachael (the late Ted) Pevnick, Toby (the late Ron) Singer and the late David (Sheilah) Katz; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Mr. Appelman was a veteran of WWII, a graduate of Washington University, President of Unidynamics and a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital.
