Melinda Ann Friedman

Melinda Ann Friedman, died January 14, 2015, from early-onset Alzheimer’s disease at age 59. Beloved wife of Bruce E. Friedman; loving mother of Matthew, Benjamin and Brian Friedman; beloved sister of Nancy Corbin and Barbara Corbin; dear sister-in-law of Steve (Terry) Friedman and Michael S. Friedman; beloved daughter of the late Robert C. and Glenna E. Corbin; dear daughter-in-law of Gloria M. Friedman and Beverly (the late Arthur) Friedman; beloved step-sister of Kim (Mike) Galvin, Keith (Lyle) Topper, and Kevin (Georgina) Topper; our dear aunt, cousin and friend. Melinda was an accomplished civil defense trial lawyer. She was passionate about life and enjoyed many hobbies including baking, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, reading, gardening and traveling.  She and her husband were very fortunate to have been able to travel many times to Europe and other parts of the world. Memorial service Friday, January 16, 12:00 PM at Central Reform Congregation, 5020 Waterman Blvd.  Visitation for Melinda 11:30 a.m. Friday at Central Reform Congregation. Contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo. 63132 or to the Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Washington University School of Medicine, Campus Box 8111, 4488 Forest Park Boulevard, Suite 130, St. Louis, Mo. 63108. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Clermont Manor (Dolan Memory Care), Heartland Hospice, the Jewish Community Adult Day Center, and the tremendous support and guidance of the Washington University Memory Diagnostic Center (including Nupur Ghoshal, M.D. and John C.
