Beloved wife of the late Jerome B. Baer. Dear mother of Betsy (Jeff) Schechter and Wendy Eisenberg. Beloved step mother of Andy (Elizabeth) Baer and Marianne Baer. Loving grandmother of Jackie and Jacob Schechter, Emily, Jared, Oliver and Elliot Eisenberg, Spencer and Madison Baer, Olivia and Suzanne Pocost. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Barbara and the late Leslie Sterling. Our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Maxine was the co-camp director of Camp Birch Trail for Girls, a social worker, English teacher and mother extraordinaire who enriched the lives of everyone she touched. “Day is done, gone the sun….”.

Funeral service Sunday, January 28, 1:00PM at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois Road. Visitation for Maxine 12:30PM Sunday.
