Marvin Murray, M.D., Ph.D., died June 11, 2011. Beloved husband of Shirley Murray; dear father of Leah Balk Teitelbaum and Alison (Matthew) Alpert, M.D.; dear grandfather of Emily Rebecca Balk, Katie and Juliet Alpert; our dear brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend. Dr. Murray was Director of Laboratories at the University of Louisville General Hospital, Professor of Pathology at the University of Louisville Medical School and Chief of Staff at Southwest Jefferson Community Hospital.
