Marlene Weiss, May 24, 2021

Passed away peacefully at the age of 89 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Harold Weiss for 68 years. Dear mother of Jan (Stewart) Zeid and Robin Weiss. Loving grandmother of Ashley Zeid and Brittany (Andrew) Jerram. Dear great grandmother of Aubree Rose. Beloved daughter of the late Isidore the late Jeanette Shapiro Jagust. Dear sister of the late Richard Jagust. Beloved niece of the late Helene “Jackie” Jagust (the late Lou) Weissman. Dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Marlene and Harold shared everything in life, and would often say “how lucky they were that they found each other and that they wouldn’t have changed a thing”. They enjoyed going to the theater and the movies, but most importantly, family. Marlene loved being a mom and she was a “family first” type of person. She also greatly enjoyed giving of herself by helping others. Her love was returned unequivocally, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Due to the current health situation, private family graveside services were held. Contributions in Marlene’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63132.
