Mark Shapiro, died August 30, 2011. Beloved father of Andrew (Felicia) Shapiro and Max Shapiro; dear son of Harvey and Popie Shapiro; dear brother of David (Judy) Shapiro and Kenny (Mary) Shapiro; dear uncle of Melissa and Scott Shapiro; our dear nephew, cousin and friend. He was a person who could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was blessed with an ingenious approach to life – this approach allowed him to accomplish incredible things in school, in the work force, and within his relationships with both family and friends. He had the uncanny ability to reach people – he knew exactly what to say to you under any circumstance, and his words stuck with you every minute of every day. His accomplishments with Louis London and Momentum were amazing. He established himself as a leader in the advertising industry by trusting in his employees and creating an environment that bred success from all angles. As a boss, he knew he was only as good as the people around him, and he treated everyone on his team like a member of his family. An active lover of all things fitness, Mark was an avid biker, a lover of golf and tennis (he was a member of Westwood Country Club), and was in the gym almost everyday. His love of fitness was matched only by his love of all things entertainment. Mark could always be counted on for enthusiastic movie reviews and magnificent song recommendations. His iPod was a cornucopia of tunes loved by all generations – and just as he enjoyed music from all walks of life, people from all walks of life loved Mark.
