Mark Fasbinder

Mark Fasbinder, 57, of Overland Park, KS, passed away March 2 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services were held March 4 at the Louis Memorial Chapel followed by burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetary.

Mark attended Southwest High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia , where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi, before receiving a business degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Mark’s highest priorities were his wife of 36 years, Lauren Cantor Fasbinder, and his family. Mark’s positive outlook, sweet disposition, and kind heart made him a genuinely good man, loved and respected by all who knew him.

Mark had a world of friends and a group of 10 male friends who shared outings and great times together. He was also active for many years in Boy Scouts with his son Graham.

Mark was preceeded in death by his parents Dr. Sam and Symie Kershenbaum Fasbinder .He is survived by his wife Lauren, his daughter Morgan Ilissa and son Graham Schlezinger Fasbinder all of Overland Park, KS; brothers Dr. John(Cherie), Lenexa,KS; Paul (Sheila),Overland Park,KS ;Tom (Ruby) Overland Park,KS; his mother in law Phyllis Cantor of Creve Coeur, MO; brothers in law Chuck (Sandi) , Leawood,KS; Dr Michael (Tammi), Boston,Mass; Dr. Bruce (Susan),Minneapolis; the late David Cantor and many adoring Fasbinder and Cantor nieces and nephews , a great-niece and great-nephews.
