Lois Carol Alper passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on June 28, 1937, in Newark, New Jersey, Lois lived a life devoted to her family, friends, and community. Lois never met a stranger, and her daughters, their partners, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Lois was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Alper. She is survived by her three loving daughters and their partners: Wendi Alper-Pressman (Norman Pressman), Penni Alper (Alan Wolf), and Melani Alper (Warren Savitz); dear sister and sister-in-law to Paul “Buddy” Lerman (Diana) and Dale Reid (the late Oscar). Lois was also a cherished grandmother to Harrison, Sam, Nora, Nicole, Grace, Julie, Jamie, Jeremy and Natalie; a great grandmother, loving aunt, sister-in-law, dear cousin and friend.

Lois was a source of unconditional love and support for her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her friends and loved ones. Lois’s legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
