Lindsay Mark Cann, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, January 18, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Cheryle Cann.

He is survived by his children, Eve, Albert (Aerin) and Jacob (Amanda), and his grandson, Logan Marr.

He is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Ellen), his brothers-in-law, Michael (Leslee) and Arnold (Joan), who was also a good friend for over 50 years.

As well as many nieces, a nephew and many cousins and friends scattered across the world.

A life-long resident of University City and a University City Senior High School graduate, Lindsay became the second-generation owner of an immigrant family business for almost 40 years.  After retiring from the family jewelry business, he built a second career, capitalizing on his life-long love of stamps, and worked as a Philatelist for various auction houses.

His true calling was simply enjoying life, and he loved nothing more than spending time with family.

He was a loving and caring father, a friend to every one he met, young and old, and the beloved youngest son of Senta (Mishow) and Henry Cann.

A private service will be held. Memorial contributions preferred to KETC, St. Louis’ public broadcasting channel. Please Visit for more information.
