Libby Merle Tishk, died peacefully October 3, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada with her loved ones at her side. She was born in St. Louis, Mo. August 27, 1927 and was the daughter of Joseph Jaffe and Mary Jaffe (Fitterman). She married Walter Tishk in June of 1947 and together they raised their two children together, Alan and Andrea. After the children were grown, she returned to the workforce and worked at Saks Fifth Avenue for over 20 years before she retired. She was active in the NCJW for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother; her family always came first. Guests were always made to feel welcome at her home. She always enjoyed spending her time with her family and long time friends. She is survived by her beloved husband Walter of 67 years, mother of Dr. Alan Tishk (Cecilia), and Andrea Tishk (Randy Gorlick), grandmother of Rabbi Melissa Tishk, sister-in-law of Anna Lee Wolff (Edward). Services were held October 7, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. Contributions to the charity of your choice.
