
Leslie “Les” Zucker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 90.
Les was the devoted husband of Marilyn Zucker, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and strong family bonds. He was the proud father of three children: Michael Zucker (Colleen), Lori Zucker (Shawn Dougan), and Marc Zucker (Amy). He was a cherished grandfather—known lovingly as “Papa”—to Liam, Aidan, Graham, Arianna, Henry, Lana, Avi, and Julia.
He is also survived by his sister, Diane Torgov, with whom he shared a lifelong connection.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Les was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William “Bill” and Ethel Zucker.

A passionate and respected leader, Les co-founded Warner Communications and remained actively involved in the company well into his eighties. His dedication, integrity, and leadership left an enduring impact on colleagues and the business community alike.
Beyond his professional life, Les had a deep love for the outdoors—especially being near the water. Whether water skiing, boating, or simply soaking in the tranquility of nature, he felt most at peace surrounded by its beauty.
Les will be remembered for his kindness, tireless work ethic, and steadfast commitment to his family and friends. He touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Graveside service will be held on Sunday October 19, 3:30 PM at United Hebrew Cemetery, 7811 Canton Ave., University City, MO. 63130.
