Leslie A. Davis, died January 23, 2013. Beloved husband of Karen Holm Davis. Dear father of Brook Bensinger Davis and Hadley Holm Davis. Dear son of the late Abraham and the late Myra Davis. Dear brother and brother in law of Warren W. (Maralin) Davis. Dear brother in law of Holly (Don) Guthrie, Peter (Maureen) Holm and Woody (Sherri) Holm. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend. Mr. Davis was a practicing attorney for more than 40 years, originally with the firm of Davis & Davis. He served as a court appointed Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for more than 25 years. Mr. Davis was a member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Banks of Missouri. Les was an active volunteer and supporter of KEEN (Kids Enjoying Exercise Now) and Story Link, a prison reading service. He was an enthusiastic follower and supporter of Washington University’s Women’s volleyball and Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams as well as St. Louis University’s Men’s Basketball team. He was an avid golfer and a member of Meadowbrook Country Club. Leslie was a vociferous reader, who loved to solve crossword puzzles, an avid fan of musical theatre and a trivia expert.
