Leonard “Lenny” Ruback, died November 24, 2011. Husband of Alice; father of Dona (David) Wise of Atlanta, Ga., Jann (A.J.) Gest of Denver, Colo., and Lois (David) Zuckerman of St. Louis; grandfather of Kim (Elana) Wise, Jordan Wise, Julia Wise, Jacob (Audrey) Gest, Tovah (Logan) Fair, Maren Gest, Rachael Zuckerman, Jeffrey Zuckerman, Aaron Zuckerman; great-grandfather of Ahuvah Wise and Tzvi Wise. Born in St. Louis in 1923, he attended Soldan High School. After serving in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, he enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis, then met and married Alice Wolff January 15, 1949. Later that same year he earned his B.F.A. from Washington University. In the mid-1950s he moved to Denver, Colorado, where he worked at Franklin Furniture for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1985. Contributions to the charity of your choice.
