Leon Cori, died September 3, 2014. Born in Paris, France, April 1, 1928.  Beloved husband of  Paula (Boothe) Cori.  Loving father of Steve (Shirley) Cori and David Cori.  Dear son of the late Joseph and Ida Cori.  Beloved grandfather of Jason, Bryan and Kayla Cori.  Loving great-grandfather of Jordan and Kaylee Christopher-Cori.  Dear brother of Maurice (the late Yvette) Cori of Marseilles, France; and the late Suzy (Dr. William) Zelik and Ginette (Herbert) Friedman.  Beloved uncle of Jessica Z. (Curt) Billhymer, Michel (Claude) Cori, Katherine (Philipe) Sitbon and Sandie Capsuto.  Loving great uncle of Jason, Charlotte and David Cori, Elodie and Alexandra Sitbon and Jacqueline Billhymer.   Eternally selfless and generous human being, cousin and friend to many. Funeral service Friday, September  5, 3:00 PM at United Hebrew Cemetery, 7855 Canton Avenue.  Contributions in his memory may be made to the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
