Lawrence D. Shayer of Creve Coeur, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2017. He is survived by Sydell, his wife of almost 65 years, two children, Allan Shayer (Celia Mae Rozen) and Nancy Shayer, and five grandchildren: Hannah Shayer, Desiree Shayer, Callum Shayer, Max Rudolph Shayer and Eli Noah Shayer. Mr. Shayer was a chemical engineer with Monsanto and was a Trustee on the St. Louis Community College Board. Contributions in Mr. Shayer’s memory may be given to the League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis or the League of Women Voters of Missouri.
