Lawrence Charles (“Larry”) Cohen, age 73, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center Hospital in Los Angeles. He was born August 22, 1945, in St. Louis, MO to Max “Jim” and Pearl (Resnick) Cohen. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School in Los Angeles and an extremely proud member of the United States Marine Corp.

Larry was an extremely kind-hearted and generous man, but most importantly a great father. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasure; chatting with friends and family, snacking, watching football, and hearing about the day-to-day activities and successes of his sons and their families.  

Larry is survived by his sisters (Eleanor, Donna, Denny, and Rene), son (Steve, wife Christine) and grand kids (Katie, Aaron, and Maddie), son (Brian, wife Janet) and grand kids (Jamie, Joshua, and Jacob), and former wife (Sarah). He was predeceased by his brother Jacques (Jim).

Larry will be cremated, and per his wishes, there will not be a formal funeral or service. Please take the opportunity to remember him in your own personal way. Family, friends, and others whose lives Larry touched are invited to make a donation in lieu of flowers in Larry’s name to the charity of their choice.
