Laura Schwab Blumenfeld of Clayton, Mo., passed away at the age of 86 on July 2, 2016.

Her parents, William and Francis Schwab, precede Laura in death.

Laura is survived by her husband of 63 years, John A. Blumenfeld, her brothers William Schwab Jr (Rose) and Richard N. Schwab(Rochelle) and, her five children, John Jr (Sally)., Jane (Jeff Hornstein), Andrew (Sarah), James (Chris Cooney) and Emily (David Lowey), their and 12 grandchildren Diane, Amy, Dina, Marnina, Aliza, Jacob, Sam, Mark, Megan, Sean, Elias and Ethan and one great grandson Weston Pearsall.   The Family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staffs at The Gatesworth McKnight I, Parc Provence and Heartland Hospice for their support in Laura’s last years. 

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 5^th, 10:00 AM at Temple Emanuel, 12166 Conway Road, St. Louis Missouri with Rabbi Elizabeth Hersh officiating.  Burial will be private for family at Mt. Sinai Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, the Missouri Botanical Garden or the St. Louis chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
