Lance D. Gerowin, M.D., died January 2, 2012. A dedicated surgeon and family physician, he moved to St. Louis for his residency, where he met and married his beloved wife Andrea (Fox); father of Sean (Karoline), Alison and Adam; proud grandfather to Hanni and Banks; dear brother of Marlene (Bill) Franz; brother-in-law of Phillip (Arlene) Fox; valued uncle, cousin, and friend; companion to his pets Brynn and Scampers. He had an inexhaustible capacity of humor, knowledge, and kindness, serving his country as a US Navy Lt. Commander during the Vietnam War, and his community everyday. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 11:30 AM at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. Contributions to Humane Society or BJC Hospice. The family thanks his devoted caretaker Bonnie.
