Dear mother of Jonathan (Anis McLin-Morris) Morris.  Loving grandmother of Sina, Koan, Alethea and Burke.  Cherished daughter of Mary Lou Burke and Herschel Kershman.  Dear sister of Rose Halbert, Stephanie (William) Griffin, Benjamin (Anna) Kershman and David Kershman.  Beloved aunt of Nichole, Kyle, James, Ian and Nate.  Devoted partner and loving friend of Donna Stelzer.  

Karen was a very loving mother and doting grandmother, devoted daughter, and supportive sister.  Her love and compassion sheltered all around her.  She was a selfless person who focused all of her energy on other people.  Karen was always quick to laugh, even in the hardest of times.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside service Tuesday, August 13, 11:00 AM at United Hebrew Cemetery, 7855 Canton Avenue.  In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, 10950 Schuetz Road, St. Louis, MO, 63146.
