
Julie Jacobs Nord, February 24, 1964 – October 15, 2025
Julie Jacobs Nord, born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 24, 1964, died in Snohomish, Washington, following a long and heroic battle with liver disease on October 15, 2025. She is dearly missed by all who know and love her.
Julie was always happy and full of life, even when facing her illness. Through the pain and many operations, she refused to let her situation get her down and always had her wonderful smile and happy face for her many friends and family.
Julie was born into a loving family, anchored by her parents, Frank and the late Susan Jacobs, and including her sister, Linda (Allen) Steele, and her brother, Michael Jacobs. Her stepmother, Marylen Mann Jacobs, was an important part of her life and truly became her second mom. She graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in 1982 and then from Lindenwood University in 1986. A sound engineer, with recording studios in both St. Louis and Seattle, Julie was well respected in the world of music.

Her 26-year marriage to Eric Nord was filled with love and family in Snohomish, Washington. Together they were blessed with an amazing daughter, Rowan Francis Nord, and Julie loved being stepmom to Cristal (Justin) Hubbard and Creston Nord and grandmother to Ava, Braydon, Samuel, and Kegan. She is the sister-in-law of Sonia Frank.
Julie leaves behind so many people who love her beyond words. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
A memorial service will be held in Seattle, Washington, at a later date.
