Judy S. Goldman, died January 22, 2014. Beloved wife of Lester H. Goldman;dear daughter of the late Sam and the late Mollie Schneider; dear mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Kenneth J. (Dr. Sally A.) Goldman, Louis B. (Rebecca S.) Goldman and Hazzan Sharon B. (Michael C.) Nathanson; dear grandmother of Mark (Melissa) Goldman, Benjamin Goldman, Julie Goldman, the late Samuel Goldman, Joseph Goldman, Maxwell Goldman, Mollie Nathanson and Zachary Nathanson; dear sister of Alfred (Phyllis) Schneider; dear sister-in-law of Miriam Dennis, Barbara (Byron) Schneider and Eugene (Linda) Goldman; dear great-aunt, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Judy was past-president of B’nai Amoona Sisterhood and past president of the Ladies Friday Musical Club, past-president of her Hadassah chapter and board member of Solomon Schechter Day School. She was, for many years, a member of the first violin section of the Gateway Festival Orchestra and the University City Symphony. She was a founding member and first violinist of the Arioso String Quartet, played in many chamber music ensembles and had a private violin studio for more than 25 years. Funeral service Friday, January 24th, 10 AM at Congregation B’nai Amoona, 324 S. Mason Road. No visitation prior to service. Interment follows at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road.
