Judy Lee Spector, 66, passed away on July 31, 2016 of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.  

She was the widow of Jerry Maher, head football coach at Horton Watkins (Ladue) High School. Judy was the loving daughter of the late Abe and the late Lillian Spector, sister of the late Jerry Spector, cousin to many; joyful stepmother and grandmother.

A world traveler, event organizer, spectacular gardener, and long-time bugle player, her zest for life and wry humor brightened every space and heart she touched. 

A memorial service will be held at the Green Center, 8025 Blackberry Ave., University City, MO 63130 on August 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Donations made in Judy’s name to the Green Center, where she served as Secretary of the Board, will go toward establishing the Spector Family Nature Classroom.
