Judith (Judi) Lynn Abram

Judith (Judi) Lynn Abram, 57, passed away at her home in Denton, Texas on May 18, 2017.
Judi is predeceased by her father Alan and lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy Rae of Pompano Beach Florida; brother Michael and sister in law Gaylynn of Castle Pines Colorado, nephew Ben and wife Cheyenne of Corvallis, Oregon and niece Lauren of Arlington, Virginia and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Judi was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1959 and brought joy and smiles to all that met her over her wonderful life. Judi graduated from Parkway North High School in 1977 and earned a BA in Art History from North Texas State University in 1983. She worked as an optician, store manager, traveling salesperson, and most excitingly, as a poker dealer in Oklahoma for over 7 years.
Judi lived on the wild side. Judi’s cats were always part of her extended family. She enjoyed all sports, especially downhill and jet skiing and was a fantastic fisherwomen. She was a fabulous artist and musician and loved to travel. She considered Key West as her home away from home and most importantly brought compassion and humor to all people that crossed her path. She never met a stranger!
The funeral service was held at Star of David Memorial Gardens, 7701 Bailey Road, N. Lauderdale, Fl. 33068 at 10:00 AM on Tuesday May 22, 2017.
