Joyce Weinstein (nee Mendelsohn), April 10, 2018

Absolutely and completely beloved wife of the late Morris “Moe” Weinstein. Absolutely and completely beloved mother of Susan (the late Howard) Perez. Dear daughter of the late Nancy and William Mendelsohn. Beloved sister of the late Charlene (late Sidney) Coblenz.  Dear sister-in-law of the late G. Scott (late Georgia) Weinstein, the late Frank (late Mildred) Weinstein, the late Rose (late Martin) Hess, and the late Walter (Gerry) Weinstein. Especially loving aunt of Scott (Lisi) Weinstein, Carol (Walter) Brown, Cheryl (Joe) Freeman and Linda (Charles) Hilton. Beloved great aunt of Jake and Rikki Weinstein, who were like her grandchildren. Loving grand (cat) mother to Bridget.

Joyce was a wonderful listener and friend to all. She could tell you everyone’s life story, and their birthdates! She had a terrific sense of humor, wrote funny song parodies, and enjoyed puns almost as much as her daughter, who will dearly miss all of their shared inside jokes.

Her husband, Moe, was the love of her life. They were complete soul mates. Joyce’s love for her daughter was total and completely unconditional (even when her daughter was sometimes a real “stinker”). 

Private family services were held. Contributions in her memory may be made to the JCC Nutrition Program, #2 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, MO, 63146, or to Evelyn’s House, 1000 N. Mason Road, Creve Coeur, MO  63141. Thank you to the phenomenal staff at Evelyn’s House and Dr. Patrick White, who took such loving care of her during her final days.
