Joseph Elias, age 89 born January 21, 1932, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on May 4, 2021. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Jacob and late Anna Elias and graduated from New Utrecht High School. Joseph served his country honorably in the Army and then embarked in a career in auto parts sales. On June 5, 1955, Joseph married the love of his life, Leatrice Poscover. Together they had 46 wonderful years of marriage raising their four children and later traveling to see their grandchildren until Lea passed away in 2000.  Joseph is survived by his children Neil Elias (Judy), Karol Elias, Karen Ginsburg (Larry), and Mark Elias (Courtnay) as well as his grandchildren David, Brian, Alex, Jeffrey, Baker, Brooks, Sterling,  and his great grandchildren Cole, Emma, Lily and Allison.  He is also survived by his brother Irv Elias (Lorraine), brother- in- law Maury Poscover (Lorrie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service at Chesed Shel Emeth Chesterfield, Mo. will be held.  Memorial contributions are preferred to cancer research or the charity of your choice.
